Hi Everybody!
It has been an amazing couple of weeks! I just got back from San Francisco, after playing the Rockstars Show Afterparty at Otis. Rockstars is a photography exhibition made up of photos of famous rock stars by the most elite “rock n roll” photographers like Richard E. Aaron, Baron Wolman, and Mike Zagaris. The Curator is START SOMA, and START MOBILE’s, John Doffing.
I met Richard E. Aaron, an amazing rock photographer who has shot Eddie Van Halen, Rod Stewart, Bob Marley, Robert Plant, Peter Frampton, Jimmy Page, Freddie Mercury, Bruce Springsteen, The Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop, and many other rockers. He was totally cool, gave us his card and said he’d try to check out my next L.A. show!
Rockstars is currently being held at:
Hotel des Arts
447 Bush Street
San Francisco, CA 94108
Five floors of awesome rock star photos! The Show opened on May 18, 2006 and runs through June 2006.

This was my room at Hotel des Arts! Thanks to Hero and John Doffing! My room was so chill!

The Rockstars Show was just awesome! I had a blast!
Check out my Chillin with Dylan photo below.

We also met the coolest rapper/reggae/dreaded guru, Start Mobile’s Harmogenous Dooji himself, Wiseproof, who’s also has M60’s on START MOBILE MUSIC, and his lovely ladyfriend, Ketura. She’s awesome, and made us the most delicious vegan food I have ever tasted! Thank you to her family for showing us how they do it out in Oakland! She is also a gourmet caterer extraordinaire, and if you’re in the Bay Area, email her about your next party!

Tokyo Decadence played on the roof of the adjoining building to Hotel des Arts, and rocked the House SOOOOO hard, that the San Francisco Police Department came and shut the party down early! Check out their awesome video of their rooftop performance on their site! I had a moment with the lead singer who mistook me for a roady, earlier at the Hotel when he saw me carting my guitar! It was a classic rock moment, when I told him, I was playing the Otis After Party and all of his friends dogged him! He’s hot though and rocked it till the cops shut it all down! Another cool rock moment at the Hotel des Arts in San Fran! John Doffing sure knows how to throw a party!

Then, it was on to 25 Maiden Lane to Otis, a swanky little club owned by partners, Damon White, Joseph Latimore, Jason Lappin, veterans of NYC and L.A. restaurant scene.
It was a beautiful setting, with a balcony lounge area near the DJ Oakland Faders, who was awesome! He was such a sweetheart helping with our LIVE sound. I also want to thank Spencer, where-ever you are for helping out too!
Four of my songs are featured on Start Mobile, a new Mobile Phone service that provides Fine Art and Indie Music - M60’s (ringtones) for your cell phone!
